Elite Auto Glass & GlasPro

JD Ford & Company represented the shareholders of Elite Auto Glass and GlasPro, the leading automobile glass replacement and repair company in the western United States, and its 19 affiliated companies in the sale of their assets to Belron International, the worlds largest automobile glass replacement and repair company. Belron, a $1 billion per year, subsidiary of D’leteren Group, with headquarters in Belgium and the United Kingdom, acquired Elite/GlasPro as their platform for growth in the United States. One of the key issues in the sale was the complex corporate structure of Elite/GlasPro, which included multiple related companies and minority shareholders. JD Ford & Company advised Elite/GlasPro through detailed and complex negotiations and guided the shareholders through the comprehensive valuation and due diligence process. The transaction allowed our clients to realize a substantial cash value for their ownership while enabling them to remain with the Company and lead its United States expansion.
