JD Ford & Company represented the owners of Denver Graphic, a leading close tolerance precision screen printer, producing high quality labels and graphic overlays for large original equipment manufacturers. The Company had been family operated for over 20 years. Due to demands from customers to expand its scope of services, the shareholders of Denver Graphic sought out a merger with a larger entity. JD Ford identified Wallace Computer Services (NASDAQ) as a logical strategic buyer. JD Ford implemented its proven controlled auction process that ultimately led Wallace to pay more than two times revenue. Wallace viewed Denver Graphic as a strategic add-on to its Lampro label and decal division. The owners of Denver Graphic were able to exit the business within 30 days after closing with 100% of purchase price paid in cash at closing.
